Dr. Dale Madsen, DDS
He began practicing dentistry in 1982 after graduating from University of California, San Francisco Dental School with a Bachelor of Dental Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
He grew up in Chico then moved to Utah for college, graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in 1978.
He has taken various Post-Doctoral courses in Cosmetics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Restorative, Implants, Periodontics, Laser dentistry and Orthodontics. He loves all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Madsen resides in Chico with his wife. He enjoys spending time with his 6 married children and 20 grandchildren. He also enjoys water and snow skiing, backpacking in our country's beautiful outdoors, and doing various church-related activities.

Dr. Stephen Madsen, DMD
Earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine, located just south of Salt Lake City, Utah. While attending dental school he was awarded the Clinical Dedication award during his second and third year. This is an award given to only 4 students in a class of 100, being recognized as a student that went the extra mile for his patients and spent his extra time outside of school hours, practicing and improving his skills.
Stephen is trained in Oral Surgery, Endodontics(Root Canals), Dentures, Periodontics, Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry. He loves that dentistry provides the opportunity to serve the people in the Chico area, while also giving him an outlet for his artistic skills.
Stephen first got his experience at the early age of 14 in the dental industry as a dental assistant for his dad, Dr. Dale Madsen. He learned the ropes for 4 years at the office, earning his X-ray certificate, learning to fabricate gold crowns, bleaching trays and night guards all before high school graduation at Pleasant Valley.
After graduating college from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelors degree in Business Finance, Stephen explored different career opportunities around the country, and decided on a career in dentistry. Stephen and his family moved back to Chico and worked another 2 years in the dental office while also attending Chico State and Butte College to complete his pre-requisites for applying to dental school.
Dr. Stephen Madsen was raised in Chico and is thrilled to be back home with his wife and four children. He loves exercising, reading, camping and perfecting his culinary hobby on his Traeger grill.

Maria originally worked for Dr. Dale Madsen when he first started practicing and she was his first employee. She returned to his practice in 2011 and has been a vital part of our team since then. She loves to work along side Dr. Stephen Madsen as he continues the excellent care of patients. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family as well as many outdoor activities.

Aaron has been working with Dr. Madsen since 2016 and enjoys working in the dental field. In his spare time he enjoys going on adventures with his 5 children.

Maddy is a senior in high school and is attending Butte College part time. After graduation high school she is planning on going to college to become a dental hygienist.
